Hi, I’m Hayley.
I am a Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC) in Moberly, Missouri.
Over the past decade, I have worked with individuals and couples by helping with various mental health concerns, including depression, anxiety, grief, trauma, and relationship issues. I approach therapy with the idea of the past is present, meaning that any attachment issues and childhood trauma will eventually present themselves through mental health symptoms if not addressed.
I help clients tackle these issues through Cognitive-Behavioral therapy and EMDR (Eye-Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing), but I also believe that good therapy is not constrained to just one or two modalities. Clients who work with me are informed that my techniques almost always stem from both an attachment and trauma focus. Because of this, I find that clients begin to feel relief from symptoms quite quickly. In addition, clients inevitably increase self-awareness and understanding of how they can use the ”bad things” in their life, past or present, to create positive change within themselves and their relationships.
My husband and I are avid world travelers and I enjoy working with people of all cultural and religious backgrounds. As a Christian, I am passionate about helping others discover their value and worth in Jesus Christ and what that means for their personal lives, their families and their marriages. I believe that spiritual and emotional health go hand-in-hand. I encourage and welcome my clients to discuss their beliefs in whatever way they are comfortable. All MGCC clients are asked in their initial intake forms to accept or decline prayer and/or biblical scripture references as a part of their counseling experience.
My highest goal as a therapist is to help individuals recognize their own resilience and purpose while healing from the difficulties of the past. I know that therapy is a hard, vulnerable place, especially if you’re new to it. People typically find that the first session is the scariest! While I can't promise to make it easier, I never underestimate how difficult the process can be and I strive to always be caring, empathetic, and nonjudgmental. One thing is for sure: my clients are some of the bravest people I have ever met and I love the work that I get to do!
If you are ready to take the next step, I am ready to come alongside you and help in every way possible. I look forward to working with you on your journey!
I’m a thirty something year old therapist hailing from Macon County. After a six year military stint in the St. Louis area, my husband and I settled down in Moberly back in 2019. We have three children, our oldest daughter and son through adoption and our youngest daughter biologically.
I didn’t figure out “what I wanted to do when I grew up” until I started volunteering at a pregnancy care center and was exposed to expecting mothers handling an unexpected pregnancy, most with no support. This led me to begin my career in counseling, adoption, and foster care. I graduated from Lindenwood University in 2018 with a Master of Arts in Professional Counseling and obtained my LPC in 2024. I am certified in TF-CBT, a TBRI Practitioner, and have experience working with individuals struggling with anxiety, depression, infertility, trauma, and more.
I desire to help others recognize and process their past trauma and believe this is key to a healthy and happy present and future. I work primarily with females, ages thirteen and older. I am a strong believer in a client-centered approach, meaning the therapeutic relationship (between client and clinician) is one of the most important factors in the process. I aim to create a non-judgmental, comfortable space for all of my clients.
I look forward to meeting you and working together in hopes for a better and brighter future.
Hi, I’m Karcie.
Hi, I’m Cory.
I grew up in Huntsville, MO, and after a stint in Texas for grad school, I decided to return to my hometown to serve the community I love! I believe every person is born with unique strengths and finding deep meaning and purpose in your life is vitally important to long term happiness. I’m particularly passionate about working with autistic adults and individuals with developmental disabilities. I take a strengths-based approach to empower you to achieve your goals, become more independent, and navigate life’s ups and downs. I might be the right fit for you if you are looking for a safe place to identify your strengths, explore your life experiences, and discover your purpose.
I also have experience working with anxiety, depression, PTSD, emotion regulation difficulties, autism spectrum disorder, and other developmental disorders. I am trained in Motivational Interviewing, Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Mindfulness, DBT and Trauma Focused-Cognitive Behavioral Therapy.
If you're struggling to find your purpose and cope with life's ups and downs I might be the right fit for you. I believe in holistic wellness and our sessions together will reflect that. I believe you are the expert on yourself and I tailor our sessions to meet you where you’re at in order to help you achieve your goals.
I work with ages 15 and up.
I’m originally from Chariton County and have lived and worked in Chariton and Linn Counties for a majority of my life. I’ve been a social worker for over 20 years. I graduated in 2019 with a Master’s in Social Work. I’m currently a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW).
While I have worked with people of all ages and walks of life, my heart and passion is working with children, parents and their families. I truly believe that positive mental and emotional health begins in infancy and is essential throughout childhood. I am primarily passionate about working with children from the ages of 3 to 10.
We can nurture positive mental health from the very start fostering resilience and connections. I believe in the connection between mind and body and in utilizing play to support young people in working through their traumas and building resilience.
I have experience working with children and families experiencing crisis and trauma. I’ve worked with parents and children to build connections and address attachment concerns. I’ve also worked with individuals experiencing anxiety, depression and PTSD. I have experience in providing Cognitive Behavioral Therapy(CBT), Trauma Focused CBT and Solution Focused Therapy.
I’m excited to build relationships, support connections and positive mental and emotional health. I look forward to the opportunity to connect and begin your journey with you and your child!
Hi, I’m Sarah.
Hi, I’m Chris.
I am a Licensed Professional Counselor in the state of Missouri and a Licensed Associate Counselor in the state of Arizona. I am passionate about providing counseling from a Christian or secular perspective.
I work with adults, children, and adolescents who face divorce, bullying, peer pressure, and difficulty with managing interpersonal relationships. With children and adolescents, these challenges can often manifest as anger and defiance, fear, low self-esteem, ADHD, depression, and anxiety and I will address each issue with psychoanalytic depth. My approach is emotion-focused, trauma-informed and addressing underlying needs.
I also use Trauma-Focused Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (TF-CBT) with a Family Systems approach to treat families and couples struggling with communication, trust, emotional regulation, and parenting issues.
